Join the 2011 European boycott of Canadian seafood today to save them.
It’s the largest slaughter of marine mammals on the planet, and the Canadian government has sanctioned even more killing this year.
But you can help stop the killing. Join the 2011 European boycott of Canadian seafood today to save seals. Even if you've signed in the past, please renew your promise today.
We want you to boycott Canadian seafood. Why? Because the boycott works. Canadian fishermen kill baby seals for their fur during the off-season. They earn only a tiny fraction of their annual incomes from killing seals -- most of their wages come from fisheries like snow crab.
In the past six years, hundreds of thousands of people around the world have pledged to not buy Canadian seafood -- like snow crab -- and the industry's bottom line has taken a nose dive.
It’s up to you and me and every conscientious, humane person out there to send the Canadian fishing industry a message they can’t ignore: Stop killing defenceless seal pups, or we won't buy your seafood.
Join the 2011 European boycott of Canadian seafood to save seals and be part of our historic campaign to end this brutal hunt at last.
Thank you for making this the year for seals -- it’s the year we’ve all been waiting for.
